GSA Selects InfoReliance to Implement Competitive Sourcing Database for OMB’s Office of Federal Procurement Policy

Fairfax, Virginia – September 30, 2005 - InfoReliance Corporation, a leading Northern Virginia information technology firm, today announced that the General Services Administration has selected InfoReliance to implement a competitive sourcing database for the Office of Federal Procurement Policy (OFPP) – the Office of Management and Budget’s federal procurement arm. The contract directs InfoReliance to construct a database that will gather information about federal agencies’ public-private competitions for inherently commercial federal jobs.

“According to the Administration, competitive sourcing will save nearly $1.4 billion over the next three to five years,” said Andrew Butler, president and co-founder of InfoReliance. “Once complete, our high-value OFPP database will introduce new operational efficiencies and enable the government to effectively analyze how competitive sourcing is working.”
